The stuff speaks English. Not well, but still it is pretty good for France. Close to the train station and city center.

The restaurants in the area around are insanitary, with many flies and cockroaches, so it is better to eat in more expensive restaurants in the city center.

Lovely hotel, wonderful helpful staff - just a shame that Marseilles didnt live up to expectations

I think for a one day stay this was an excellent choice,the price was right and facilities were decent.The location next to Joilette metro was very convenient.

I think Les Gens De Mer - Marseille is the best ** hotel in Marseille! Good parking, good location of hotel and very friendly staff.

I liked that it's quite easy to find - a walk from train station. it's a bar nearby, and rooms are very clean and bathroom is spacious and comfortable

Friendly, helpful staff. It was only a very short walk to the metro and tram stations. Centrally located, so the walk to the harbour and main attractions of the city were nearby.

we stayed there for two nights. The hotel is good choise if you just sleep and take shower there. The staff was very helpfull and there was free internet/computer. The staff also spoke good english. Room was clean and bed was good. And there were airconditioner.

District was very dirty and hotel was maybe on the wrong side of marseille. But there was only 10 minutes walk to old port and 45 minutes walk to beach.

the hotel had its own parking, hotel itself is having a nice environment, staff were helpfull and managed to communicate with us although their english was not that good

rooms and bath room is relatively small, you need to take transportation to reach city center, it is atleast 40 min walk

The only good thing about this hotel was that the staff were helpful and spoke fairly good english, there was no other positive feedback that I could give.

The area was not safe, I stayed here with my boyfriend and we couldnt even walk up the road without getting stared at or feeling intimidated. The area was dirty, nothing attractive about it at all and no shops were open. We were that disapointed by the hotel that we moved on our second night as soon as we could get out of there. The rooms were small with basic facilities.
